Marnhull, is a quiet and attractive village in the North of Dorset, close to the border with neighbouring Somerset. Marnhull was featured, as 'Marlott' in Thomas Hardy's Tess of the d'Urbervilles.

Comfortable, friendly, 18th Century house in the centre of an attractive Dorset village. House and barns of local stone set around a pretty courtyard, leading to a cottage garden. We're set in the heart of the beautiful Blackmore Vale and Thomas Hardy country. Close to Shaftesbury, Bath, Sherborne, Stourhead, Montacute, Longleat and many other places of local interest. We have a village pub serving excellent food, just 100 yards from our house. Two doubles and one double/family room. B&B tariff from £32 per night (single) and £55 per night (double).
