We have sumptuously decorated and comfortably furnished the house with family pieces as well as newly acquired pieces. We are set in the middle of the beautiful Blackmore Vale in Thomas Hardy country surrounded by lovely old towns with glorious countryside and the coast within easy reach. National Trust properties are close by as are the many historic hill forts to be found in this part of the world. There are wonderful walks (even straight out of our garden!) and excellent bike rides all around us.
