Stour Row is a tiny village 3 miles south-west of Shaftesbury hidden in the lovely Dorset countryside. Lawn Cottage is a delightful 18th century stone cottage with a warm, friendly atmosphere and rooms filled with paintings, porcelain and kelims set in a delightful garden which guests are welcome to use. There are three rooms for bed and breakfast guests. A ground floor twin/double with ensuite shower room tv/ dvd player (suitable for the less able) a lofty single/bunk bedroom with ensuite shower and a double bedroom with private bathroom. Children and dogs are very welcome. All the rooms have wifi, tea and coffee making facilities and homemade biscuits. Delicious breakfasts are served in the cosy kitchen with its Aga, in the dining room or even outside on the terrace! It is an ideal base for visiting Dorset (and the coast), Somerset or Wiltshire being on the border of all three, or as a quiet place to relax and unwind. There are delightful Gardens, houses and walks nearby to visit and I am very happy to help with more information. Our excellent local pub is less than a mile away.

Self-contained garden studio accommodation 2 mins walk from the centre of Stalbridge and shops. Double bedroom, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, Shower and WC, off-street parking. Optional continental breakfast provided. Note: smallish shower with not much room for manoeuvre! No pets, sorry. Tailor-made continental breakfast supplied (juice, yoghurt, cereal, croissant/bread etc.) Organic breakfast available on request.

| Old Causeway Bakery is a beautiful old house in the lovely village of Hazelbury Bryan set in the glorious Dorset Blackmore Vale, close to Sturminster Newton, Sherborne, Blandford Forum, Shaftesbury and Dorchester – 22 miles from the Jurassic Coast. We offer a great welcome and two lovely comfortable rooms in the main house, both en suite, with the use of a guest sitting room. In addition we have the Old Bakery Wing/Cottage attached to the main house which has a large bedroom and bathroom with Jacuzzi and its own sitting/dining room and fully equipped kitchen. (This can be B&B or self catering). In addition guests are very welcome to relax in the garden overlooking the fields. Children and dogs are most welcome. There is a village pub across the road and a village shop down the road. Come and stay in our lovely cosy bedrooms in very comfy beds with soft duvets and wake up to a wonderful full English breakfast of, where possible, locally sourced produce or for a change have Smoked Salmon with local free range scrambled eggs - all with home baked bread! This characterful former farmhouse offers two beautifully appointed bedrooms with super kingsized beds (or two twins), one a sumptuous ensuite with roll-top bath, the other having a large private bathroom.
