St Algars is situated within Holt village, just 2.5 miles from Wimborne Minster. Holt has its own village green, church and excellent pub, all within a few minutes walk.
Holt Heath/Forest are less than one mile away. Holt Heath - a 488 hectare National Nature Reserve - is one of Dorset's largest remaining areas of lowland heathland. Owned by the National Trust.
Holt Forest is one of Dorset's largest surviving areas of ancient broadleaved woodland and was recoreded in the Domesday Book as the Forest of Wimborne. Holt Forest is part of Holt Heath National Nature Reserve. The numerous footpaths and bridlepaths in and around Holt make it ideally suited to walkers, cyclists and horse riders.

St Algars is a welcoming, relaxing and comfortable home-from-home Bed and Breakfast. There is a Guest TV lounge/dining room with large digital TV and games, with direct access to the large beautifully maintained garden.
The garden includes a seating /BBQ area for guests to relax and enjoy the quiet rural setting.
There is an extensive breakfast menu offering traditional full English a well as a number of 'Special' dishes, all prepared using fresh local produce. Special diets are also catered for, including gluten free.
